Talon - Basic Full System

$22,000.00

A full and complete Talon remote head system, complete with Talon, Mark One console, and accessories needed to start operating right out of the box. Case has wheels and a pull-out handle for easy transport.

Additional configurations available upon request. Contact us here.

This Talon System features our flagship two axis pan/tilt remote head, the Talon. It’s the do-all head that won’t take a break. Positionally accurate and robust, the Talon head can carry fifty pounds in the standard configuration and is upgradeable with Support Bearings or a Cradle Kit. With a Mitchell spud standard, the Talon can be used with tripods, cranes, dollies, and more. Sliprings are featured in both the pan and tilt axes of the Talon, allowing for unrestricted 360 degree operation and camera control, also with a Lens Control Port and a Camera Power pass-through located next to the Camera Plate. The Camera Plate is height adjustable with lockdown bolts and a thumbscrew.

Included with the basic system is the Mark One, our basic play-repeat console. Featuring a 2.75” blue LCD display, this console can display degree position of both axes as well as display zoom and focus positions. Zoom and focus are controllable via joystick twist and an encoded knob, respectively, or through the Lens Control port. Easily record takes/moves and marks with this console and play them back all day long. The setting of smoothing, speeds, position or velocity mode, analog lens voltages, and more are possible with the Mark One.

The Mark One has a Control port for head control, a PB-Wheels port for handwheels, a Lens Control port for lens control input, and a Serial Set Streaming port for computer integration. Optional ports for BLOOP and integration with NODO Film System’s Inertia Wheels are available for an additional cost, upon request.

Lens Control Cables for Canon and Fujinon analog and digital lenses are available separately.

A Pan Stabilization Upgrade for the Talon is available at an additional cost, upon request. This keeps the Talon’s heading when moving a boom.
